Aloe vera

Aloe vera This unusual plant grows in the warmer regions of the earth. Its thick, leathery leaves contain a jelly-like juice. This juice is also called aloe resin or aloin. Aloe vera is most famous as a skin care product. But you can also use it as a delicious refreshing drink.

About the aloe vera plant

Aloe vera is a cactus-like succulent plant. It grows long blue-green upright pointed leaves that grow 40 to 50 cm long. The aloe vera plant needs very little water because it can store a lot of water in its jelly-like leaves. Aloe vera blooms with beautiful bell-shaped yellow and orange-red flowers.

Why do we use aloe vera?

Aloe vera is a special plant that has been used for centuries. The gel-like structure of the moisture from the plant’s leaves is ideal as part of skin care products or to add to a refreshing juice. So the plant certainly couldn’t be missing from our juices.
