Carrot

Did you know that carrots are naturally a purple color? The orange, actually different color, became popular in the 17th century when Dutch farmers wanted to pay homage to William of Orange by growing orange carrots. Carrot eaters around the world turned out to prefer orange carrots. Hence, the purple original variety is hard to come by today.

What nutrients are in it?

Carrots and carrot juice are very healthy because they contain a good amount of beta-carotene. Vitamin K is mainly found in the green foliage of the carrot. The beta-carotene present can be converted in your body into vitamin A. This vitamin has a positive effect on your immune system.
