Turmeric icon Turmeric or turmeric is a spice extracted from the roots of Curcuma Longa. Turmeric originally comes from Malaysia and there this spice is called “turmeric. Turmeric is a regular ingredient in curry spices. It has gained tremendous attention in recent years.

What nutrients are in it?

Turmeric is a good source of potassium and also very rich in dietary fiber. The root owes its striking bright orange color to the substance curcumin. This pigment is also commonly used today as a natural food coloring.

What does this mean for my health?
