Mango
The mango probably originated in the forests of northeastern India and Southeast Asia, where it is found in the wild. It was therefore first cultivated in these forests. This fruit is also considered the king of fruits. In India, the fruit and the tree are even sacred. The mango is also an important symbol in Buddhism.
A mango is a stone fruit that varies in shape depending on the variety. The mangoes we know are mostly oval-shaped, but there are certainly spherical mangoes as well. When ripe, the fruit can contain different colors: it can be green, yellow, orange, red or variegated. The ripe flesh is soft and juicy and yellow in color. The fruit tastes and smells sweet.
