BREAKFAST – OMELET WITH VEGETABLES
- 1 half red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut or olive oil
- 1⁄2 red bell bell pepper, cut into small pieces
- 1 handful of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 handful of spinach
- 2 eggs
- 1 generous pinch of garlic powder
- a few spring onions

Preparation
Eat your omelet with a whole grain (rye/ buckwheat) sourdough bun, a flaxseed cracker or a piece of sprouted bread.
- Fry the onion for 3 minutes in some coconut or olive oil.
- Then add bell bell pepper, mushrooms and spinach.

LUNCH – BEET SALAD WITH SPINACH AND QUINOA
Ingredients for the salad
- 50 gr red or white quinoa
- 250 ml of water
- 1 handful of almonds
- 1 bag of julienne beets or 1 freshly grated beet
- 1 bag of julienne carrots or 1 large freshly grated carrot
- 50 gr spinach
- 1 avocado
Ingredients for the dressing
- 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon curly parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- 1⁄2 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

- Thaw the edamame beans. Once thawed, you can press the beans
out of the pods. - Cook the quinoa in the water in a saucepan (with the lid on)

- 50 gr pine nuts
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

- If you like raw, crunchy zucchini and cherry tomatoes,
you don’t need to fry them. But if you like them a little softer, fry them for a few minutes
in some olive oil. - Use food processor or blender to blend all ingredients for the
avocado pesto. Do not blend for too long. - Place the zucchini spaghetti and cherry tomatoes in a deep bowl. Spread

Not only on its own metabolic system, but also on the environment in which you live, your lifestyle, your condition and diet, and whether you take medication or drugs.
You may feel (temporarily) unwell during the cleanse. This is because you have acutely stopped eating and drinking addictive foods such as sugar, alcohol and cookies. But by preparing your detox cure properly, you do reduce the chances of side effects.
Below are the main side effects of detox treatment, in order from most to least common:

- restless sleep
- cravings for (unhealthy) food
- hunger
- sore muscles/lack of muscle
- fatigue
- little energy
- altered bowel movements
- irritation
- bloating
These side effects are far from occurring in all our clients, especially in people who had followed the instructions for the pretox properly. If they did occur, they usually disappeared after a day or two. Many clients reported that they had finished their juice cure completely and that they felt super fit and energetic afterwards.
The side effects of the detox cleanse can be a lot more intense for people who drink (a lot of) alcohol daily, who take (a lot of) medication/drugs and for all smokers and ex-smokers. Even if a person has quit smoking and medication (for a long time), toxins of these are still present in the body.
Side effects that may be more common in (former) smokers and medication users:
- severe headache
- migraine
- nausea
- thin stools / diarrhea
- vomiting (in exceptional cases)
Heavy coffee drinkers (at least 3 cups per day) almost always experience severe headaches that can last for a long time. Sometimes they also have migraine headaches. This may also be because you are fasting and living primarily on vegetable juices. After a day or two, you will basically no longer suffer from this. The possible side effects of the detox cleanse are listed below in order from most to least common: Headaches, sweating, restless sleeping (weird dreams and nightmares), extreme cravings for (unhealthy) food/hunger, muscle pain, fatigue, low energy level, delayed bowel movements, lower back pain, irritation, bloating, nausea/vomiting. You can basically do a detox cleanse as often as you want. After all, you can never consume enough healthy foods. The more healthy food you consume, the better it is for your body and mind. It is especially important to listen to the signals your body is giving you. These are different for each person. Some clients do monthly cleanses with us, while others repeat every three months. We do recommend that you repeat a detox cleanse at least quarterly, whether you order the juice from us or prepare it yourself at home. Just as you should regularly clean your car’s filters to keep its performance at its best, you can also give your body’s “filters” a cleaning. So when you maintain and repeat this, your body will continue to perform at its best.
You can definitely drink water during the cleanse. How much water you can drink is different for each person. You get an average of 2 liters of fluids during the cleanse through our vegetable juices. So in addition, if you start drinking a lot of herbal tea and water, you can also dehydrate yourself again. When you have to urinate excessively, you can also lose many important minerals in the process. The most important advice we can give you is to listen to your thirst signal. Drink only when you are thirsty and preferably filtered or mineral water. So don’t drink water if you’re not thirsty or because you think you should. The color of your urine is also an important indicator. If your pee is completely transparent and colorless, you are drinking too much water. Light yellow urine is generally heart healthy!
