Orange

The orange is the most widely eaten and most popular fruit in the world. This juicy and fiber-rich orange contains the highest concentration of vitamin C of any citrus fruit. Oranges are originally from China. Therefore, the name ‘orange’ is also derived from the sina apple. Indeed, in China, the fruit used to be known as ‘Sina’. Oranges belong to the citrus family and come from the orange tree (Citrus sinensis).

What substances are in it?

One orange contains 67% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C. Oranges also contain a nice amount of folic acid (vitamin B11) and fiber.

What does this mean for my health?
