Endive

Endive Endive is a leafy crop closely related to chicory and has a bitter taste. Especially the outer green leaves of endive are rich in vitamins. There are two varieties of endive, the leafy endive and the curly endive. Endive is also widely used by health experts.

What nutrients are in endive?

Endive contains high percentages of vitamin K and vitamin B11 (folic acid). In fact, there is as much as 330% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin K in endive! In addition, endive is a good source of fiber.

What does this mean for my health?
