Himalayan salt
Himalayan salt is a pink rock salt extracted from the Khewra salt mine in Pakistan, at the foot of the Himalayan Mountains. It is known for its characteristic pink color, which it owes to the presence of iron oxide (rust), and its coarse, unrefined crystals. It is appreciated culinarily for its mild, clean taste.
