Pear

Don’t compare apples with pears, even though the two are related. The pear a delicious thirst quencher and is very high in fiber, just like its relative the apple. The taste of the pear is deliciously sweet. The flesh of the pear is somewhat grainy in texture. This pome fruit is native to western Asia, where it was already eaten in the Stone Age! Around the end of the 16th century, the first pears were harvested in Europe. Today, the Conference pear is the most popular pear variety in the Netherlands. This variety is also widely grown in the Netherlands, as it grows very well in our temperate maritime climate.

Why do we use the pear?

The pear is a delicious thirst quencher and is high in fiber. It gives a fresh tone to our juices and is also sweet. It is a favorite fruit among many people. Because of its delicious taste, the pear of course could not be missing from our ingredient list.
