Personal data we process
Sapje processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Address details
- Phone number
- Email address
- IP address
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example, in correspondence and by telephone
- Data about your activities on our website
- Internet browser and device type
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. Therefore, we encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@sap.je, we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
- Handling your payment;
- Calling or emailing you if necessary to perform our services;
- Informing you of changes to our services and products;
- Sapje analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the offer of products and services to your preferences;
- Sapje also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
Automated decision-making
Sapje does make decisions about things that can affect individuals based on automated processing. These decisions are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (e.g. an employee of Sapje) being present. Sapje uses the following computer programs or systems: Mailgun and Mollie Payments. Mailgun is used for sending emails to customers so they get the right information. Mollie Payments takes care of payments so that orders can be made.
How long we keep personal data
Sapje does not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected.
Sapje only discloses to third parties and only when necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to fulfill a legal obligation.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this through the personal settings of your account. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability or have other questions/comments about data processing, please send an itemized request to info@sap.je.
To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Sapje will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at least within four weeks.

Sapje takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. Sapje does not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
(Category) personal data > Sapje stores personal data for up to 5 years. The customer can request (personal and address information) to delete the data immediately. The reason we keep the data is so that we can then deliver the juices to the right person and address
Personalized ads
Sapje may show you ads on other websites and platforms. This is done on the basis of your previous visits to our website and the websites of third parties. Your surfing, search, and buying behavior are collected based on cookie techniques, your IP address and the ad number linked to the device you surf with. Sapje asks its customers to write reviews. When you write a review, you choose whether your personal information or your name is visible to other visitors. You can also use an alias. We post reviews only with your permission. Because reviews are valuable to customers for a long time, we keep a review until you ask us to remove the review or until the review is removed by us according to the review conditions.
