What substances are in it?
Lemon verbena contains mainly essential oil containing mainly aldehydes such as geraniol, citrol, neral and eucalyptol. Furthermore, it contains flavonoids such as hispidulin, salvigenin and eupafoline. The herb also contains betacaryophyllene, alpha-farnesene, monoterpenes including limonene, terpene alcohols such as linool and terpineol and furcoumarins.
Why do we use lemon verbena?
