Paksoi is a vegetable of Asian origin. It is now also grown in Europe, especially in Spain. In China, people started cultivating the vegetable 5,000 years ago. From China, the vegetable has conquered all the world.

Paksoi is high in vitamin A and C. One ounce, 100 grams, of this vegetable is enough for a whopping 28% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of vitamin C and 19% of the RDA of vitamin A!
